Deep Heads’ label executive Zeb Samuels has unveiled his contribution to the imprint’s forthcoming release, Cosmic Vibrations Vol. 4 Compilation, a project slated for release on May 26. Named ‘Black Out’, the single conveys something about its maker: Zeb Samuels seems to enjoy straying from the beaten track.

His production style is without a formula or strict arrangement, Rather, it is a textured sonic collage of sorts. Patches of synths mingle with dollops of echoes, blending in a stream of modulation and layered elements. Speaking to his approach, he says, “the track was made through a dark and eerie few weeks in my life, and ‘Black Out’ is what transpired. I feel it captures the energy I was feeling at the time and was totally absorbed by the production when I created it. I hope you enjoy the weird and wonderful frequencies presented in the recording.”
