Ambient electronic producer Koresma has shared his track ‘Free‘ lifted from his EP North. The EP is part of a series based on the points of a compass, and follows on from previous releases East and West.
‘Free‘ features the exceedingly talented Alaska Reid, whose vocals bring a mysterious haunting quality to the track. It’s centred around the producer’s grandad who grew up in The Faroe Islands, and renders a picture of his experiences there.
Koresma explains: “‘Free’ channels inspiration from my grandfather who grew up in the Faroe Islands. He told me stories about the vast openness, sheer cliffs, and moody weather and it has heavily influenced the sonic landscape of this EP.”
