Gergely Álmo, better known as mïus, has shared a new song, ‘Feather ft. Amme’. Available now across platforms via Théque Records.

The mïus moniker belongs to what he has defined as a multi-art project, which features audio-visual shows like the one he will be performing later this year (preview his naked waves show) as well as music, of course. It is worth noting that he will also be releasing his album, Abstrakt, on the 2nd of June.
‘Feather ft. Amme’ conveys a sense of purity. That is to say, the song reaches out toward the artistic ideal, grasping at the heart of creativity, its fingertips grazing the living flesh as it beats away in mïus’ body of music. In other, simpler terms (though it is difficult to describe it using such things) the record doesn’t sacrifice a thing for commercial appeal but rather illustrates the producer’s willingness to try new things, or at least so it seems.
To this end, mïus goes into detail, describing the song’s composition: “‘Feather’ has a very unique pulsation caused by its time signature. For this song, we combined the vibration of the techno music with an unusual 9/4 rhythm, which then flattens out to a classy four on the floor at the end. Amme’s playfully elaborated vocals twist and stretch around the interesting percussion like a kind of instrument.”
