Jerry Folk – MAGNIFIED artist shares Heart EP & focus track ‘Bridges’ feat. Nedja

Dynamic electronic producer Jerry releases his EP ‘Heart’ via Folkestad Recordings. The EP follows the release of the title-track, ‘Heart’, which received airplay on BBC Music 6‘s New Music Fix with Mila Korbenski, Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant. The artist’s debut album Dotted Red with his side project FENGSEL received significant attention and was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy. His work has earned praise from notable publications Mixmag, COMPLEX and Highsnobiety. He has also received National radio support from BBC Radio 6’s Tom Ravenscroft, RTÉ 2FM’s The Greene Room, as well as KEXP Radio. Jerry Folk has remixed the likes of Billie Eilish, Charlie Puth and Oh Wonder and produced for artists like Alina Baraz, Axwell Ingrosso and Lemaitre to name but a few. Having toured the US multiple times, Jerry Folk has opened for Odesza, played at Coachella and the Mixmag lab twice and garnered over 350 million plays across streaming platforms.

Oslo born and based, Jerry Folk has always been a traveler at heart. Each of his songs are unique in their own right as the producer refuses to stick to one particular genre. Swirling melodic textures, watery vocals and grooves to move to Jerry Folk’s Heart EP is set to captivate and inspire. With Melancholic euphony interspersed with pulsating shakers ‘Bridges’ feat. Nedja, the latest single, takes the listener on an introspective journey into an organic groove decorated with percussive motifs. With Nedja’s sparkling vocals and Jerry Folk’s signature crisp sound this track is certain to be played on repeat.

Jerry Folk shared: With Heart EP I wanted to make a more club oriented project. Inspired by early 2000s UK club music with a mix of hard drums and soft rnb vocals. I wanted it to be sad club music you can still dance and feel hopeful too. I have Australian Chloe Kae, swedish Izza Gara and norwegian Nedja singing on the songs.”
